Sue Nelson, DVM

​Dr. Sue Nelson is a co-owner of Bartlett Animal Hospital and has cared for pets here as a general practitioner since 1992. She grew up in Chicago and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Animal Sciences in 1985. She went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Animal Sciences in 1987 and continued her veterinary education at the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Nelson was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1992 and graduated with honors.

Dr. Nelson is a member of the Chicago Veterinary Medical Association, the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association and the American Veterinary Medical Association.
